The Civilization module introduces students to the major events, movements, and figures that have shaped the history of the United States. Students will explore the political, social, economic, and cultural development of America from its early colonial period to the modern era. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and readings, the course examines key topics such as the founding of the nation, the Civil War, Reconstruction, industrialization, civil rights movements, and contemporary American society. Students will also develop skills in critical thinking, historical analysis, and the interpretation of primary and secondary sources.
